After careful review of several hours of footage, the admin team has come to the conclusion that the player April has cheated in the Grand Open Tournament beyond reasonable doubt. Specifically, it appears that April was using some sort of toggle aim assist. The evidence against April was mainly taken from the FPOV that was submitted during the Grand Open Tournament, and was reviewed by multiple trusted players from different teams and backgrounds.

Because of this, all of April’s records and April’s team records will be stricken and a sanction of a permanent ban from all League activities will be applied. Cheating and violation of game integrity is one of the most egregious offenses one can commit in a competitive league, so the sanction must be proportionate to this. It is unfortunate that this decision had to be reached, but we must ensure a level playing field for all players.

For those interested, please see the FPOV links below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZjrU6hv2DU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qidp5_TmUIg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPObM1ncjT8

Because of this, all teams April was a part of will be stricken from the Hall of Fame for each respective tournament April participated in. We truly hope something like this will never happen again.

Why were FPoV required, if the people watching them back could not find anything, only for that to be later retracted because of outcry from the community. After payments for first place had been sent.

Also you just linked to 3 vods with no timestamps of "proof"?

Second that.

If you carefully analyzed the videos, could you please include the timestamps of the moments that led to this ban too? I dont think its helpful to post three 1-2h+ videos.

This is "beyond a reasonable doubt"? Lol, who judged these clips? Look I showed it around to all the top aimers, people who consistently shoot 35-40% and we all agreed everything that we saw is plausible and in fact things we do regularly. The only thing suspect about it all is teh consistency of how often those flicks are landing. Conclusive? That's really stretching it buds, none of this is conclusive evidence. My opinion is that its highly likely they cheat because there is a lot of consistent knacky shots that are landing, and unnatural motion while shooting GL, however it's not conclusive at all. If these are examples of "blatant" cheating, then maybe you should ban me too because I do stuff like this all the time.

Next time get the opinions of the top players before deciding "omg aimbot".

But April doesn’t have the hands of a level 99 magician.

Rofl nice 3 year old clip of me blackout drunk to try to prove some shit. Typical star logic.

I mean you could just query the stat bot to see I'm in the top accuracy for many categories... And that includes all my drunko gathers swalk. Besides its not even my opinion either, regardless i never said I was a top aimer you butthurt Muppets. Just cause your clique doesn't think im good doesnt invalidate my opinion.

Wish it was easy to conclude this but it can go both ways on this ban. Hard to tell, as for ADHD his aim is in the bottom 50 percent of the community. I would even say he is worse then most pubbers currently. :D

Pretty much all the tracking footage is hard to judge just because of the poor quality of the video. When its missing so many frames the movement on the vid looks much twitchier and less smooth than on the players screen(some quick turns are not as instant as it seems).

Knowing the players mouse settings(dpi and sens) would be helpful when analyzing.

GL does look weird tho... But stuff like that could happen with high sens and/or dpi + nervousness while focusing hard.

Had a look at the footage. There is some of the points that are definitely not suspect.

Some of the snap aim is definately suspect. Most extremely good players when they snap, there is some slide either past or adjustment back. Some of the snaps from april do not display this which leans me towards having some kind of aimbot. Not that my opinion matters since the decision is made. But here is a video to compare against. Slow down to 0.25 when there is snapping and you will see what i mean. The pro has much smoother snapping and there is slide.

The linked spreadsheet has a key for Not suspicious / Suspicious / Blatant but the values aren't filled in, which ones were thought blatant?
