As for the game though today isn't anymore about "i don't care about the graphics if the gameplay is awesome" it's more "can i remove all the bs hud achievements if the gameplay is good?"

And yes you got it right it's made by the guys that left the COD train when they wanted to stop making those and try something new. When COD was still "somewhat" good.

this game definitely looks interesting, i imagine that with the seemingly tight urban map designs and the hitscan weapons, the movement system will not be terribly effective in combat however.

also, the source engine feels pretty shitty imo, especially when compared to id3 derived stuff that these guys will be used to working with.

CSGO should not be used as an example to justify that the source engine is good. hahaha. The netcode in that game is shocking, granted its better than it was.

source has very vague and soft bullets imo - might just be that most of the games on it have CS style recoil etc. also, im not sure if its purely CSGO related or source in general, but I find the visibility in that game shockingly bad. people in long A pit for example just blend into the background and you cant actually see them peeking..
