I'm going to speak for myself in this appeal and whatever I say will not represent the views of my team or anyone else who was part of the recent events.
I honestly didn't really care much for the drama of the past few days (apart from the kash thing which I don't intend to address here), I gave my opinion on things, called people out who were saying dumb things and I quoted people who said clever things, but that's about it for the recent match drama. I didn't really try to argue at all because 1. I've learned in the past that it's never worth it to argue against an admin decision when the community doesn't stand behind you and 2. it was obvious that the admins were going to find a proper solution to the problems and undo the rushed decision made by Kashilles.
However, I did not expect the spirit of Kashilles to still remain in their attempt to "fix" the situation.
The reasoning behind the new punishment (disqualifying a player per team for the semifinals) is seemingly drawn from the twitch VOD of lome https://www.twitch.tv/videos/149247184
My "part" ends after something like 3 minutes.
You can see very very clearly that we're all just joking around by the time i votekick. Btw, some people like lome (ROFLLL) might say that i votekick twice, but the first time i do it someone () changes the map immediately so my thought was nobody saw it and i could just repeat the same joke twice like an idiot.
Never did I intend to kick ololoi, he was our ref (and he's a friend) and there was no reason to escalate the situation at the time, he was obviously talking to an admin to see what everyone could agree on. The fact that a little joking around before a game, like it's often the case when you know your ref, is punished with a ban is just beyond me, and to me really just seems like kashilles had more say in the new decision than he should have. Afterall we all know Kashilles has a personal problem like he personally admitted a few days ago.
If you want to ban 1 per team please come up with proper reasons, because the one you have right now is just an excuse to ban me
