I was just watching the FIRST members of this community, and noticed that most of them were FRENCH.

therefore, was ENSL a french community at first ? Or led by frenchies ?

( french players were good before ? )

I remember on 2.0 there were so many french players..

No. It was never ran by frenchies, it'd not last much if it was.

Frenchies were always bad. There was just one decent clan RaB back in the days but also, skill wasn't brought to perfection yet.

AFAIK the ENSL was started after the French community became to small to have their own league, the FNSL (French Natural Selection League). Originally the entire website was in French, I remember testing it while they were still working on the translations.

yes it was French at first. We had i think 2 seasons of FNSL, then the website was turned into ENSL. Thus the number of frenchies in here :D

it was a project made by mike, french natural selection league(fnsl) the whole project of the site layout etc was made bym him but french ns community was too little back then and it has been switched to european project ; p.

Not really dugi, Insane was one the most underrated clans in history of NS. They never actually won anything, but it used to be really hard for national clans to challenge international clans. Still, they were so close to win something major, that in my books they deserve much more respect. There was also fastswitch which folded just before ENSL.

Yeah Tane's right. Insane had some incredibly sick team at times. I mean alot of their players I wouldn't rate as individually top-top. But together they were pretty darn good. Plus you don't get any comms like Mike. Awareness of a god.

Aza was epic, that I know. But Insane weren't that good compared to storm or Knife.

insane was pure french speaking team with only mike being belgian compared to storm or knife which were fully international teams, it's harder to find 6 good players in your country and form a decent/top team.

Naxo made the site, not mike.
