Is there going to be some amendment to the rules in regards to promoting and relegating teams between divisions? Personally I think having 8 teams in each group (16 in a division) would be a bit more interesting and also provide more of a buffer for teams dropping out during the season.

Then have maybe div1 13-16 go down, div2 1-4 come up, and div 1 9-12 play div2 5-8 to see who swaps divisions.

You could still have the playoffs with the top4 of each division to see who is champion or just skip that.

Would make for a 8-9 week season if you played all the up-and-down matches in one weekend and it seems like this would get teams into their rightful division much quicker than the current rules will.

I do not know but i do believe that for this Season the Groups were kept smaller so to finish it before Christmas Break .. cause usually ppl are not available during those times.

Nope. There is week5 with default time 0 06/Jan/13.
We kept groups small to make entire season shorter. That's true.

There is large chance of having 8 teams per group next season, but can't promise it now.
