NSL Jambi

In the spirit of all the changes going on for the cup tomorrow, I made an "NSL" jambi. Basically, I wanted to try out different RT layouts to see if we can make the map more balanced.

Here is the layout:

As you can tell, the north side of the map has an extra res node. Also, the RT in repairs has been moved back into shipping.

This should help emphasis the RT imbalance of the map, and also will give aliens an incentive to try and hold the north side of the map.

Here is the regular ns2_jambi layout for your reference

You guys can always just play the regular jambi if you prefer. Once we decide on a layout I will start removing a shit ton of lights for season 3.

I love Jambi and it already was really well balanced. It plays differently and people haven't played it enough, which I find sad because it's probably the best map in whole game. I'm afraid that the new layout is step to wrong direction. I can tell that even without playing it. Aliens are able to take four easy RTs in start and the fift is also quite easy to take. That is a major balance problem. Also now Repair in the new layout is just wasted space, the room you will never go. It was better in original.

Agree with Tane, played it yesterday and I'd rather have the previous version.

I don't think the layout of RT locations of Jambi needed to be changed at all. I'd rather any work on the map be put towards improving the details. Like improving the texture edges with trims, or prettying up some of the areas / corridors tbh.

Well I am glad you guys like the original better.... I thought it was the best layout also. I can go ahead and revert the changes and start removing some lights.

LOL, well I did have a few days off and I wanted to test some new things.

But anyway, NSL Jambi is fully functional now. Lights and spectate lights are all working.

Usually, for me to fix a stuck spot you would need to post a screenshot of the "spot."

Simply saying it needs some work on "stuck" spots does me no good.

Yeh that was me, second time was after the gg was called to see if it was a one-off or not. Turns out you always get stuck on this wall as fade - please fix :)
