It can be brutal how the rules are changed but not the rules themselves, you've made your point. However, they're not being reversed or changed, just deal with it and play your games.
I've never played Evolved Ones so I don't know how they play, but judging from the Division scores you're -supposedly- better than them (No disrespect). You're also getting to play more games this season, which would be enough for me.

Rules are rules and as stated, they can be changed during the season. Ofc there's always gonna be people who wont like em like you.. but do you really need to start B*tching about it? I had multiple conversations with Ralcor for WEEKS trying to assess where the match was being scheduled at. He showed me multiple conversations he had with various team leaders from Renegade attempting to schedule the match for LITERALLY WEEKS. Ralcor offered many EU friendly times and they refused to take any of them. If you go read the comments, it's pretty clear it was one sided.
Don't fucking talk about what you don't know. You don't know that team AT ALL. EO is particularly near and dear to my heart. The guy who posted? W0k? He's been frustrated with trying to schedule with a number of EU teams because 1. His team is mostly west coast NA, so there is a 9hr time difference between CET and PST so they can only play weekends and 2. He has multiple starting players who have recently become unavailable on weekends due to work. This has led to a lot of frustration with not being able to field their starting lineup for any of their EU matches.
So let me say it again: Don't fucking assume and talk about what you don't know. You've been whiny in every one of your posts and talking out your ass. You assume so much and you don't know jack shit. So get off your high horse and stop bitching about EVERYTHING.

TL;DR You won't read this. It's too long for you. You post a small issue in an over dramatic manner in a public forum expecting to slate people and the community without response. The manner in which you posted was more about pointing blame sticks at people, and not getting to the issue. You're rude and unprofessional when it comes to issues you have and then get butthurt when someone "unrelated" disagrees with you and explains why. It's impossible to have a discussion with you because you look to slate people and then cry when people criticise you. Talk more about the issue at hand in a neutral manner rather than starting these discussions with loaded language intended to be inflammatory and you might find people are more reasonable with you rather than troll you with .gifs and .jpgs
Your first point is that more teams are put in than the rules initially said.
Your second point is that you're playing some "random" team when in fact you're playing the 4th placed team in the other group which isn't random, that's how seedings work in this kind of layout.
The issue everyone has with this thread is that it's abrasive, rude, and disrespectful. If you're going to put something like that up in a public forum, expect replies of equal nature. You can't post yet another thread flaming people and not expect people to respond. You're completely out of touch with reality when it comes to how to deal with people. You have an issue with an admin like Zefram and you don't just go publicly denouncing them, you speak with them privately first.
If you want to discuss why something has changed, go for it. That's what forums are for. But no, you feel the need to claim the rules "pointless" and blame Zefram for "sealing the deal" with regards to killing the game. You're not a polite person to me, or anyone else who makes a decision you don't agree with or who disputes things you say. You're very self entitled to think that you're right and the people who answered for the other side of the argument are just wrong, stupid, and "a joke".
The wonderful thing about this forum is that it's open to the public to read. This is where you seem to get confused and defensive against me. I actually am entitled to speak my mind on this particular topic. If you didn't want input from certain individuals, go and talk to the admins directly asking for clarification instead of trying to name and shame as you love to do. Also, I don't argue with half the people in each thread, I argue with those I disagree with, because, you know, that's how debates and discussions work.
This thread is so pointless and melodramatic that the solution is simply to get over it. The small change is not a big deal. Yes I pick apart what you say so I can analyse it, understand the logic behind your arguments, and counter-argue. Although the funny thing is that everything you write is full of style and no real substance. It's full of butthurt emotions with no real logical, consistent premises. Epic Roadrunners leave date is coincidentally the same day I joined duplex, an obvious choice to make which I communicated well with that team and they happily let me leave.
Duplex was inactive because some people had personal reasons so I left to play in hard.day who then went inactive over summer.
Team UK was for the nations cup where as soon as the date was revealed, I had to back out due to exams.
And then duplex take 2 was great but I left because of commitments I have elsewhere being more important to me than the stale nature of the game at the time.
Team Work and Tactics was a team to join casually, I never played an official with them.
GirlFriends was a joke team which links back to GorgeForts in an inside joke. It's not serious lmfao.
Of course though, really, all those teams never worked out for me because I pick at, re-word, turn around and generally disagree with everyone.
@Osku Thanks for your comment, I can only assume your trolling one liner is due to you being unable to answer the logic my post presents. I also find it mildly humorous a guy with 5 posts enters a forum asking "who are you". Again another person that thinks they are trolling me but just trolling themselves, the website and the game.

I'm not going to suggest I get on with every single one of the thousands of people that have ever played NS2, that would be preposterous and I doubt anyone can claim such a thing. I'd be the first to admit I swear at an unusually high rate, It's just how people in my area and profession talk to each other, but I only ever use it in emphasis and It's extremely rare that it would be aimed directly at anyone. I can however say I have 1500hrs on NS2 and I get on with most of the people in my regulars and have most of them on steam friends. That's not to say I don't get as annoyed as the next guy when a green player with no mic jumps in the comm chair and wastes 20 minuets of everyone's time. 1500hrs will do that to a person and this is a competitive game and attracts people with a competitive nature.

If you read the link properly you would see Its not me complaining about playing USA teams, it was them saying its a pain in the ass scheduling more games due to the change. Back on topic, the rule changes was unexpected to say the least, but hey whats one more game? and as for saying "Other teams have not earned the right to be in the playoffs" perhaps, but look at it another way, the higher you finish in the group means you will play a team that has the lowest place in the other group, so on paper you guys should win this game? or is it that your afraid of playing another game, with the chance of losing?
